Intelligence Bureau Personal Assistant & Intelligence Officer Vacancy October 2011

On-line applications are invited for the following posts in Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India to be filled through direct recruitment from amongst the candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions.

Personal Assistant (PA)-58 posts
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Wireless Telegraphy)-198 posts
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Electronics Data Processing)-06 posts

Last Date: 30/10/2011 (30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News).

Age Limit: Between 18-27 years as on closing date of application for all post. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and by three years for OBC candidates.

Pay Scale: 
Personal Assistant (PA)-Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600/-
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Wireless Telegraphy)- Rs. 5200 - 20200 grade pay Rs.2400/-
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Electronics Data Processing)-Rs. 5200 - 20200 grade pay Rs.2400/-

How to Apply? Candidates can apply for any or more of the three posts provided he/she fulfils the prescribed eligibility conditions. There will be a common written test (objective type multiple choice) for the posts of JIO-II/WT, JIO-II/EDP and PA. The written examination (descriptive type) for the post of PA will be held separately in 2nd shift.. Depending upon the number of vacancies in these posts, the candidates, who are short listed on the basis of their performance in the written examination, would be called for skill test and practical test –cum- interview separately for each post.
